Why should I give to United Way?
United Way strives to improve living conditions by looking at the root causes of some of our community's most difficult issues, and the organization recruits the right people to help drive initiatives and policy for large-scale change.
Is my gift really important? Would my contribution be missed if I did not give?
Yes, every gift matters and ensures that all community programs support the needs of everyone. Quality services must be accessible and enable all residents of the region to have a good quality of life.
I have given in the past, yet never received a thank-you from United Way.
Thank you for your gift. Each company that runs a company campaign has different privacy agreements with United Way. If you would like to find out how your gift makes a difference, click here and use your personal email to sign up for email updates from United Way.
Can I designate where my contribution goes?
Your contribution makes the largest impact when it is undesignated and can support all of United Way’s work. If you prefer to give your money directly to another 501(c)(3) nonprofit health and human service agency, you are free to do so.
Why am I being asked to sign in?
You are being asked to sign in so that you may take advantage of the Donor Identity feature offered by StratusLIVE, our online giving partner. The StratusLIVE Identity Service is a function of StratusLIVE Ignite that allows you to create a secure personal account. The account consists of your unique username and password and/or social logins that you have verified. The account will be associated with at least one email or social media account. You can then log in with that account in order to donate, volunteer, or engage with this organization. The account does not reset year to year, so you only need to create an account once.
Why Should I Create an Identity?
Once you have successfully created your Identity, you will have access to the Ignite Donor Hub. The Donor Hub is your personal online account with this organization. You may access your Donor Hub by signing into Identity and then selecting Profile from the Idenity menu at the top right of the page. The Donor Hub contains your personal donation history, volunteer history, and communication preferences with this organization. The Donor Hub also provides ways for you to update your information and engage (donate, volunteer, etc.) with this organization.
How Do I Create an Identity?
When you click on the Sign In link at the top right of the page, you will be redirected to the Identity Service sign up page.
On this page, enter a (1) Username, a (2) Email Address and a (3) Password and click the Sign Up button. The password must contain a minimum of 8 characters and include at least one
alphanumeric character, a digit, and a lowercase and uppercase letter. A StratusLIVE Donor Identity account will be created with these credentials. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address entered and you must follow the instructions in the email to confirm your email address before the Identity account can be used. The email will come from accounts@stratuslive.com.
